Form 790 code 012: amounts, the right box and how to pay

Form 790 code 012 is the police fee for the NIE, certificates and foreigner cards. Amounts per the official police table and Order PJC/617/2025.[3][1]

How to fill it in and pay

  1. Open the official form. On the Spanish police e-office.[4]
  2. Enter your details. Name, NIE or passport, and address.
  3. Tick one box only. The one for your exact procedure (see the table).
  4. Generate the form. Download and print the form the site creates.[5]
  5. Pay. At a partner bank or by the means the e-office indicates.[1][6]
  6. Bring the receipt. For the TIE, the fee is paid before the card is issued.[7]

790-012 is not 790-052

790-012 is the police fee for the document (NIE, certificate or card).[1] Residence authorisations handled by the Immigration Office are paid with form 790 code 052, e.g. arraigo social.[8] The EU family member card (EX-19) is paid with 790-012: €12.00.[2]

If you paid the wrong fee

A refund of a 790-012 paid by mistake is requested at the police documentation unit where you applied.[6]
