Why swap

The TIE is a biometric card that explicitly shows your Withdrawal Agreement rights, which usually makes travel and paperwork easier.[1][2]

  1. Fill in the form. EX-23 to exchange your green certificate; EX-20 for new applications. Check the current forms on the official site.[1]
  2. Pay the 790-012 fee: €12.00.[3][4]
  3. Book a free appointment on the official portal for fingerprints.[5]
  4. Attend in person with your passport, green certificate, photo and fee receipt.
